If you are an event organiser, or a fundraiser are looking for ways to raise money for a worthy cause, then Reading Phoenix Choir may offer the perfect solution. The choir can provide a concert for you at a suitable venue that is guaranteed to delight music-lovers and make a lasting impression on your audience.
Whilst the choir does perform in regular concert venues for experience concert organisers, most concerts are put on by the choir in conjunction with a concert partner who is fundraising for a charity or other good cause. Many such concert partners may not have put on a concert before, perhaps that is you? Fortunately, the choir can support your project by providing its experience in organising a concert. The choir can take a lead in making the necessary arrangements and/or offer you suggestions and advice on making your concert a success.
Concerts are normally held on a Saturday during the choir’s performing season (September to July); although other options can be considered. The choir does not perform just in the Reading area and will travel up to 150 miles for a same-day concert.
Taking into account the choir’s concert costs, a concert partner can readily raise several hundred pounds from a concert; some have raised well over £1000. The choir is pleased to have helped raise many thousands of pounds for charities over more than 50 years. Some of our Concert Partners have drawn in over 300 people to such concerts raising a substantial contribution towards desperately need funds.
